Happy Cinco de Mayo, everyone!
(Or, as President Barack Obama said, happy cinco de cuatro!)
Looking for some good retail and restaurant deals today? I’ll be updating the blog today as I find them, so keep checking back…
Rosalita’s Tex-Mex Grill (in Lantana): A manager told me that from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., customers can enjoy two-for-one draft beer and well drink specials, two-for-one appetizers, and 40 percent off on most margaritas. But wait! That’s not all! (Ha, I always wanted to say that). A live band will be playing beginning at 7 p.m., and radio station WRMF’s morning show crew will be broadcasting outside. There will also be a psychic, a “balloonist” and a magician on hand.
TGI Fridays: From 4 – 7 p.m., get a 5 cent appetizer with the purchase of any beverage at the bar.
Sports Authority: Is having an online promotion where shoppers can get 15 percent off their order by entering the code TSACINCO at checkout.
Rocco’s Tacos: This is where I plan to be after work. The whole 200 block of Clematis Street will be blocked off for the event starting at noon, which will include DJ’s and a mariachi band. Enjoy $4 Dos Equis beers all day, and come by at 5 p.m. or later to get a chance at some prizes, such as free golf bags, according to a waitress at the restaurant.
